A new boat harbour for Whakatāne

Te Rāhui Herenga Waka is a new commercial boat harbour under construction in the town of Whakatāne, on New Zealand’s east coast.

We are getting ready to begin construction and there are jobs and business opportunities available for local people, both now and when it becomes operational.

The project is a transformational partnership between the Te Rāhui Lands Trust, Crown Regional Holdings Limited (Kānoa), Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Awa and the Whakatāne District Council.
