Project information sessions

Te Rāhui is a new boat harbour due to open in 2024 that will provide safe berthage and marine services in Whakatāne’s dynamic coastal and river environment. Find out about the project and have your questions answered at our special information sessions.

Project Director Phil Wardale is hosting small community briefings in groups of no more than 15 due to COVID restrictions. The sessions allow the public to learn more about the project and to seek answers to any questions they have.

Upcoming sessions are scheduled at:

  • Tuesday 15th March 12, 3pm and 5pm

  • Wednesday 16th March 10am, 12pm, 6pm.

  • Tuesday 22nd March 12 5pm

  • Wednesday 23nd March 10am, 12pm, 6pm.

 The sessions are held in a meeting room at the Town Wharf. the address, and Covid-19 requirements, will be advised following your RSVP.
